MAC Glitter and Ice Holiday 2011 Collection: Whirls and Twirls Lipstick Review and Swatches

For a girl who loves her bold velvet lipsticks, I have found love with a sheer sparkly lippie. Whirls and Twirls is like the sprinkles on top of a cupcake-not necessary but thoroughly appreciated. Over my pigmented lips, this colour looks like a sparkly gloss that is the great finishing touch for easy day wear or to complete a dramatic eye. It is actually quite smooth in spite of all the shimmer and has some slip to it. Because it is a sheer formula it doesn't have the best staying power (approximately 3 hours) and can sometimes be drying, so I suggest applying a sheer balm beforehand.
