Envelope Vanity

I have 50+ resume envelopes to lick shut and all I can think about is the Seinfeld episode when George's fiance dies from licking wedding envelopes. I don't know why they don't make pretty AND self-adhesive envelopes. Is this the price to pay for envelope vanity?
