Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo Cream Shadow and MAC Paint Pots: Separated at Birth?

Do you think cosmetic companies have missed the memo that you are supposed to wash off your makeup at the end of every pore clogging day? I don't know if anyone really buys the everlasting claims that they make anymore. I for one would love to see more makeup products without a numeral in their title.
Maybelline's Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow (are you out of breath yet?) is a great cream eyeshadow that applies smoothly and wears for hours and is almost identical to MAC Paint Points. Like some MAC Paint Pots, they are not completely crease and fade resistant, but the wear time is very impressive. The initial colour is rich and pigmented and lasts without a primer for approximately 6 hours. With a primer or a layered complimentary shadow, you can magnify their vibrancy and get approximately 10 hours wear time.
(top: Bad to the Bonze; bottom: Audacious Asphalt)

While the formula is excellent, especially at this price point, I wish they had a better colour range. I find some of the colours difficult to wear on a daily basis but they would work very well as bases for more subtle colours.

Budget friendly dupes? Count me in! Here is to hoping they add moer colours to the range soon.

Keep hearing great things about these, but I completely agree with you they need more colour choices xx

Bad to the Bronze is the only one I will wear. But I do love it. I find it remarkably crease proof with a primer under. I'm currently really into cream shadows for teaching since they last and I never have o think about them.
